My name is Jennifer and I am the owner here at Say It Sassy. In 2007 after my son was born, we moved back to North Carolina, to the town where I grew up. My husband is from North Carolina too, so we both got to come back home. I decided to stay home with my son and finally put my business degree to use!

I opened my first business, Polka Dot Tot, in 2008. We specialized in all things children. We monogrammed goodies back then too!

In 2011, with the birth of my daughter just a month away, I started doing more and more personalized items for customers of all ages. I decided it was time to change things up and start a company that focused on customers of all ages. In May 2012, I opened Say It Sassy here on Etsy. We've been growing ever since!

When I graduated from NC State in 2002, I never dreamed I would be running my own company and working from home. They say love what you do and you will never work a day in your life. I feel so blessed to wake up every day and look forward to going to work. I work what some would call crazy hours, but I get to spend the afternoons with my two kids who are growing up so quickly! My daughter loves to help me box items and put on labels. She also loves to monogram everything she owns. I get new items and before I can photograph them, she is asking for one or telling me what color to use for personalization!! Both kids help take packages to the Post Office and UPS, where they know them by name!

I love finding new and exciting items to bring to my customers. I work hard to find high quality gifts that I would give as a gift myself. I love to come up with new designs and color combos too. It's so fun to watch a customer's idea come to life.
